Hello my name is Jennifer Morales. I am not a personal trainer. I am not a certified nutritionist. I am not a certified dietician. I am not a professional chef. I am simply Jennifer. I lost 80  pounds in the last three years with the combination of eating a balanced diet and working out, which inspired me to give my tips on how I managed to lose and keep the weight off. You may have seen and read countless healthy eating blogs especially since the fitness world is so “popular,” but the difference is I am going to lay it out in the way it worked for me.

Throughout the past three years living a healthy lifestyle, I noticed that food is an important factor. Many of my friends and family tell me it’s hard to lose weight because they do not know what to eat. It is true. I have been there thinking eating colorless salads, no carbs, eating less calories will make lose weight faster. The truth is eating healthy is not dull and depressing, it is actually a way to be creative with your meals.

With that being said, my two passions: cooking and helping others eat healthier, I present you Kitjen, a blog that will guide you through your transition to a healthier lifestyle and still enjoy going out and staying on track.
