Homemade Peanut Butter

You can substitute the raw peanuts with any other nut you will like. For example, cashews, almonds, sunflowers, walnuts, etc…

Ingredients:

Raw Peanuts (No roasted or salted peanuts)

Materials:

Food Processor (Substitution: blender or magic bullet)

Instructions:

1.  Toast the raw peanuts or any nut you want over medium heat in a pan. Toast the peanuts until golden brown. Make sure you keep your eye on the peanuts because they burn easily. The color of the peanut butter depends on how much you toast the peanuts so be careful not to burn the peanuts. It should only take about 25 minutes to toast them, but make sure to stir every 4-5 minutes to prevent burning.

2. Once the peanuts are toasted, throw them into the food processor and blend away. You can blend to your liking.

 

You may also bake the nuts in a 375F oven for 15-20 minutes. Like I stated above, keep your eye on the nuts to prevent burning.
